Robert Lie is an internationally acclaimed, award-winning photographer from Indonesia. He recently won the Discovery of the Year 2024 at the World Annual Photo USA. In 2020, he received the Pangea Golden Ball statue from the Siena Awards, and in 2024, he continued his success by winning the Remarkable Artwork award in the Street Photography category. He also secured 1st Place in the Golden Shot Photography Awards 2025, a Bronze Medal in the Paris International Street Photo Awards 2024, and the Travel Photography of the Year 2022 title. To date, he has won more than 300 awards worldwide.

Robert holds a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting from Parahyangan Catholic University. He is frequently invited as a jury member for international photography competitions and is now focusing on travel, newborn, and family photography. Some of the competitions he has judged include the New York Photography Awards, Global Photography Awards, and Kioskedia. In addition to his photography work, he organizes photo trips to both local and international destinations. He also holds 24 photography distinctions from various countries.

Robert served as a jury member for Salon Foto Indonesia in 2021, 2023, and 2024 and has now judged more than 130 international photography contests worldwide. His works have been published in numerous articles and exhibited globally. In 2020, he was selected as an International Artist at the Exposure Photography Festival Canada. He was also a guest speaker at the Contemporary Photography Festival 2018 in the United Arab Emirates and the Kuala Lumpur Photography Festival 2020. His latest photo exhibition, Urban Rhythms by Robert Lie, was hosted by Leica Malaysia at the Leica Store Kuala Lumpur in 2025.

Robert Lie adalah fotografer ternama asal Indonesia yang telah memenangkan berbagai penghargaan internasional. Robert memiliki latar belakang pendidikan di bidang Akuntansi dari Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. Ia sering diundang sebagai juri dalam berbagai kompetisi fotografi internasional dan kini lebih berfokus pada fotografi perjalanan, bayi baru lahir, dan keluarga. Beberapa kompetisi yang pernah ia nilai antara lain New York Photography Awards, Global Photography Awards, dan Kioskedia. Selain itu, ia juga menyelenggarakan perjalanan fotografi ke berbagai destinasi lokal maupun internasional. Saat ini, ia memiliki 24 gelar fotografi dari berbagai negara.
